Strix Leviathan LLC was formed in 2018. The company is a ‘crypto hedge fund’ based in Seattle, Washington. Strix Leviathan is described as an exempt reporting adviser. It is not registered as an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The company previously had some run-ins with the SEC, accused of giving securities advice in the Washington jurisdiction without being appropriately registered. A cease and desist was issued and a fine was paid. 

Strix Leviathan aims to provide investors with superior risk-adjusted returns by applying quantitative and systematic approaches to the digital asset markets. Their services are only available to Qualified Purchasers as defined by the SEC.
